The Duet is an exploration about the expression of emotions as choreographical material for composition – emotions deprived of their causes and effects, It’s an arm wrestling between the reins of an abstract score and the unruly patterns of affects, it’s taking pleasure in impossible tasks and playing games, it’s queer abstraction.
